Intelligent people

Intelligent people will not make a transaction where they invest a lot to earn a little. As much as possible, they want to have maximum profit. If one sees someone buying a commodity at Rs. 100 / - to sell it for Rs. 50 / - one will not hesitate to call him the greatest stupid. One will be right to believe that he has escaped from an asylum.

One will be surprised to know that stupid people of this type, exist a bit everywhere. And there are those who are not in this category but sometimes, they also cannot resist influences. Thus, sometimes they also may commit some stupidity.

If one is a Muslim, one must know that there is another world after this world which is called Aakhirah. If one has Imaan, one must know that this world in which one is living represents almost nothing compared to Aakhirah. Thus, if one is sincere in one's Imaan, one will always make sure that one's Aakhirah does not suffer. If it is necessary, one may suffer a little in this Dunya. But one must not destroy one's Aakhirah. How many of us are there whose behaviour in Dunya is ruining their Aakhirah. How many people are there who are not even thinking in the least that they will have to go to another world after death which is called Aakhirah. We are careless and we are wasting our lives running behind this Dunya in which we will have to live only for a short while. And there in the hereafter, we will have to live forever. It is very unfortunate that we have intelligence but that we do not know how to use it. That's why we are living our lives like those who do not have intelligence. If giving an ox to get an egg is called imbecility, then what should one call that person who destroys his Aakhirah to get Dunya? We may present one thousand and one excuses to justify ourselves but the truth will remain the truth. An intelligent person cannot risk to lose his Aakhirah due to a little enjoyment for a short time in this Dunya.

"However they prefer the life of this world whereas the Aakhirah is much better and much more lasting." (S 87: V 16-17)
