True wealth

A person whose heart is attached to the Dunya will always be the most miserable. One must not be deceived with one's great fortune that one possesses because one will always feel that it is not sufficient. The thought of it being insufficient make one feel that one is miserable. Besides, it is a mistake if we believe that a rich person means someone who possesses a lot. In reality, a rich person is a person whose heart is rich. That is, a person who is not attached to the Dunya. He is not greedy. He does not run behind the Dunya. He does not feel jealous of his friends when he sees them in well-being. He feels free. He does not live as a slave to the Dunya. He manages his wealth generously without being extravagant. In short, he is a person who does not allow the Dunya to overpower him. He does not allow the Dunya to penetrate his heart. Such a person is truly free and truly rich.
