Najaat Abadiyyah

Najaat Abadiyyah or eternal salvation is something that everyone needs. Only a person who does not understand what he is saying can claim the opposite.

This Najaat is only found in following the Deen. To follow the Deen means to obey all the commandments of Allah Ta'ala according to the Mubarak Tareeqah and Sunnah of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). There is no other way besides this in order to acquire eternal salvation.

The problem that a person may experience while following the Deen may be overcome by seeking a spiritual guide or by staying in the company of those who are already on this path. Environment has its effect. A person may become good and may have the will to become good by staying in a good environment.

Hidaayah is found solely in the hand of Allah Ta'ala just as quenching the thirst and allaying the hunger is the work of none other than Allah Ta'ala. But it is also true that Allah Ta'ala has placed a means for every goal that a person wants to achieve. If the means of quenching the thirst and allaying the hunger is placed in food and drink by Allah Ta'ala, then the means of attaining Hidaayah has also been placed by Allah Ta'ala by staying in the company of a 'Sheikh-e-Kaamil' (a spiritual guide).

A Sheikh-e-Kaamil is a treasure and a great fortune. It is a means which is almost essential or it is the only means to make one get true Muhabbat and love of Allah Ta'ala and His Rasul (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam).

There is nothing more valuable than the Muhabbat of Allah Ta'ala and His Rasul (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Thus, the means of acquiring this precious thing also must be something of great value.

If everyone needs Najaat-e-Abadiyyah which is found in the Muhabbat of Allah Ta'ala and His Rasul (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), then everyone must adopt its indispensable means also. That is everyone needs a Sheikh-e-Kaamil.

"The perfume of Jannah (is a perfume that) can be smelled from a distance of 500 years. However, a person who uses the works of Aakhirah to acquire Dunya, will not get this perfume." (Dailami)
