Tahaarah Baatinah
Tahaarah Baatinah refers to cleanliness of the heart and Ruh.
Allah Ta'ala created man clean and pure. But being influenced by tendencies that prevail in the environment where he stays, man ends up replacing this cleanliness and purity and he dirties his interior with impurities such as Kufr, Shirk (polytheism), Nifaaq (hypocrisy), lies, dishonesty, jealousy, malice, pride, selfishness, egoism etc.
A person must purify himself of these impurities to be able to enter Jannah because there is no place in Jannah for those who are unclean. This purification can be effected by initiating a very close contact with a Sheikh Kaamil (competent spiritual guide) and by being in his company for a considerable period of time. Otherwise, practically it is very difficult if not impossible.
