Obligation to perform Salah

Salah becomes obligatory on a person as soon as he attains the age of maturity. According to the Shari'ah, a boy becomes mature when he starts experiencing that which men experience. Likewise, a girl becomes major as soon as her Haiz starts.

A boy has the possibility of becoming mature from the age of 12 and a girl from the age of 9. If ever no symptoms manifest, then automatically at the age of 15 they are considered major. Therefore, as soon as a person becomes mature, he must start performing Salah. Salah becomes obligatory on him.

To neglect Salah without any valid reason is a major and serious sin. By committing this sin, a person becomes a Faasiq. Faasiq means a person who breaks the law of Allah Ta'ala. Such a person becomes a person that cannot be trusted. Such a person cannot be a witness. His testimony has no value. Is it an honour that the testimony of a person is rejected due to lack of trust? And in the Aakhirah, he will have to undergo other punishment and dishonour.
