Replacing the missed Salah

Salah is obligatory and is a fundamental pillar of Islam. It must be performed in its prescribed time. The Salah that a person could not perform on time, regardless of the reason, must be replaced afterwards. The Salah that a person has neglected during his whole life must be replaced. This is because it is a debt towards Allah Ta'ala which should be compensated. One must not be discouraged. One must muster courage and start replacing them little by little. One will see that in few days, all will be replaced. And one must not forget that one will get the help of Allah Ta'ala which will make everything easy.

Likewise, one must think in regards to everything. One must take example of those who already left this world before us. Wealth, beauty, popularity, honour, all this will finish when one passed away. Only the actions that one did to please one's Rabb will benefit one. That little money that one spent without letting others know, those few Tasbeeh that one did to glorify one's Rabb, those few drops of tears that one shed for one's Rabb, are those things that will benefit one.

Imagine, if one performs the five times Salah on time, fasts during the month of Ramadan, reads Qur'aan a little every day and keeps one's distance from all the things that displease one's Rabb, then how much will it benefit one afterwards!
