- APPLICATION FOR HALAL CERTIFICATE
Halaal chicken
To declare a chicken Halaal, one must be certain of the following points:
1. A Muslim has slaughtered this chicken.
2. He said Bismillah before slaughtering this chicken.
3. He has severed at least 3 veins in the neck completely.
4. The chicken was still alive when he had cut the neck.
N.B:
There are very few places where these criteria are being observed. Thus, one must take precautions and must not be fooled by Halaal labels. Two things must be verified before accepting a Halaal certificate:
1. Competence
2. Honesty
