Reflect
Everyone has to go under the ground. This is what is called Qabr. The situation that a person will face in Qabr will reflect whatever he did on the ground. An anxious, intelligent person who really wants his real well-being will always regulate his life according to what he will reap as a result of his behaviour in Dunya. Total failure lies in leading one's life without considering the consequence.
According to a Hadith of Tirmizi, Qabr is a garden among the gardens of Jannah or a ditch among the ditches of hell. This depends on how a person has behaved on earth. Every action that a person does on earth increases the fire or embellishes his garden. This means that everything will have an effect and reflect. A person can decide the effect and reflect that he would want to acquire in Qabr through his behaviour on earth. Everything which is haraam and which Allah Ta'ala does not like, fills the Qabr with fire. Likewise, jealousy, pride, greed are low/base and Haraam qualities which are of no use besides increasing that fire. In general, people tend to avoid those who, according to them, can obstruct their path. And it is perfectly natural and normal that a person wants to prosper in life. But, not everyone wants the prosperity of the next person. Thus, it is quite normal for a person to take precautions with regards to someone who can give him difficulties. On the other hand, this same person does not examine his own behaviour. He does not realise that his greatest enemy is his bad behaviour on earth that can ruin his future for eternity in some cases. Otherwise, it can give him difficulties for a long time.
Thus, each person must know that his worst and true enemy are sins and disobedience to Allah Ta'ala. One must at least avoid sins just as one avoids poison or just as one remains aloof from a person whom one judges as dangerous and harmful to one's well-being.
There is no well-being in breaking the commands of Allah Ta'ala. Disobedience to Allah Ta'ala fills Qabr with the smokes of fire. What well-being may we then expect from something that will make us suffer in our Qabr?
