Did one ever think...

A person asks his son to do a work which is very easy but he does not do it. But if a stranger asks him to do a work that is quite difficult, he does it. How will we feel at this moment? It is quite normal that we will be very affected. My son did not obey me while he is at the beck and call of others. No one will justify his doings. But did we ever think that that we are also doing the same thing throughout our life? We have abandoned the Sunnah of Nabi (Sallalaahu Alaihi Wasallam) to adopt the principles of others. Our heart is hurt when our son does such things to us. But do we know that we have hurt the heart of Nabi (Sallalaahu Alaihi Wasallam)? If by upsetting the parents, there is no Raahah (tranquillity); do we believe that we will get it by neglecting the Sunnah of Nabi (Sallalaahu Alaihi Wasallam)?
