An Epidemic

It is in human nature to feel a pinch in the heart and be somehow upset when he sees the next person in prosperity. If he allows himself to be carried away by this feeling and acts accordingly, then, this will eventually lead him to detest that person who is in prosperity and he will always wish for his misfortune. This feeling is known as jealousy.

Jealousy exists everywhere and at all levels. Very rarely are there instances where one may say that there is no jealousy. It exists among the colleagues at work, friends and siblings also. It is a disease that spares none. It is very difficult to say that the 'Ulama are not affected by this virus. It is only those who have immunised themselves by having their Islaah (reformation) done who may have remained safe from this virus.

It is a disease and a very serious one that upsets the whole society. It makes something beautiful appear ugly and something appreciable appear detestable. A climate and atmosphere devastated by this virus makes everyone extremely vulnerable. What disease can be more serious than a disease that drives / incites a brother to kill his brother? There are laws that prevent the possession of weapons and going about while being armed. And this definitely guarantees the safety of people but the work does not end here. It is more important to eradicate this disease which makes one use this weapon. Every disease has its treatment. This disease is treated by a Sheikh-e-Kaamil. It is practically impossible to be cured without following a treatment under a Sheikh-e-Kaamil.

True love for Allah Ta'ala makes a person sacrifice his personal desire for the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala.
