A spiritual aesthetic sense

The Sunnah embellishes a practice. Without the Sunnah, a practice has no beauty. A practice becomes beautiful only through the Nur of the Sunnah.

A practice cannot exist without observing the Farz in it but there will be no Nur in it if the Sunnah is neglected.

People tend to take Sunnah lightly. They do not attach importance to it as a practice may be valid without the observance of the Sunnah. This is a major error which is made even by those who have knowledge. According to them, it is the essential that is required. What must be present in a human being for it to be considered a human? Is it necessary for his hands and feet to function for him to be considered as a human being? What will happen if everything functions in his body but his nose is cut off or he does not have an eyebrow? Is he a human being? Normally, he is a human being and has rights just like everyone else. But who among us would want to be such? In such a case, nobody says that he will suffice on the essentials. Moreover, people spend a lot to stay young or to look young. Everyone wants to look good. Therefore, all those who have an aesthetic sense cannot practice something without observing the Sunnah of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Neglecting the Sunnah is a sign of coarseness that can even render a person very unfortunate.
