Muttaqi and Faasiq
A Faasiq is a person who commits a major sin. Likewise, a person who persists on a minor sin also becomes a Faasiq. A person denigrates himself by committing sins and he renders himself unworthy. He shows that he is shameless. That is why the testimony of such a person is not accepted. It is very sad that a person can be honourable in the eyes of people but he does not have value in the eyes of Allah Ta'ala.
True honour is the honour that a person has in the eyes of Allah Ta'ala. It is an honour that no one can snatch. It is an honour that remains and is certain. Therefore, the true honourable is not the one whom the people carry on their shoulders in triumph but it is a Muttaqi or a person who is serious in Deen. A person who is serious in Deen is someone who assumes his duty towards his Creator and his fellowman according to the principles taught by Rasulullah (Sallalaahu Alaihi Wasallam).
What a person seeks in the Dunya through his efforts can be acquired in a more effective way by being a Muttaqi because Allah Ta'ala has promised to give a very pleasant life to the one who practices his Deen. He assured him that He will solve his problems and He will grant him his needs in an unimaginable way. Nothing is impossible or difficult for Allah Ta'ala. He has the ability to make something difficult become easy. He makes the impossible become possible. He has the ability to make the unfavourable become favourable. Whatever we need is in the hand of Allah Ta'ala.
فسبحان الذى بعده ملكوت كل شئ
"Pure is that Being in whose hand is control of everything ..." (S 36: V 31)
There is only one way to get it. One just has to become a Muttaqi. After that, everything will run smoothly.
اللهم اسعدنا بتقواك ولا تشقنا بمعصيتك
"O Allah, honour us/make us fortunate by keeping us in Your submission. And do not make us unfortunate by Your disobedience."
