Istighfar

Istighfar is a detergent which Allah Ta'ala has granted us to purify us whenever we happen to get dirty with the impurity of sin. It is a practice that cleanses, purifies, lightens us and develops the desire in us to practice the Deen. Shaitaan defeats Insaan by inducing him in error and Insaan spoils the plan of Shaitaan by making Istighfar.

Istighfar saves Insaan from Divine wrath. It is a very effective way to overcome problems and be relieved of worries. This is the key that opens the door to immense blessings. It makes a person witness miracles in difficult situations. He gets what he needs in an unimaginable way. That is, Allah Ta'ala opens his way where he does not find any way out. Allah Ta'ala makes arrangement for his well-being in a very subtle way. He makes the unthinkable becomes a reality. We can gain all these favours by doing Istighfar with utmost sincerity.
