Deendaar and Dunyadaar

Dunyadaar is someone who keeps Dunya in his heart. A heart which is filled with Dunya is like a boat filled with water which sinks it.

A person who loves and runs after Dunya sacrifices everything that becomes an obstacle in his path. At a certain point, he may turn his back on his Khaaliq (creator) also. Finally, he loses in all aspects because when he leaves the Dunya, he goes empty-handed while Aakhirah was already not in his account.

A Deendaar is someone who loves Allah and His Rasul (Sallaalaahu Alaihi Wasallam) more than anything. He accepts this Dunya as long as this Dunya does not become a barrier or an obstacle in the path of Allah and His Rasul (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). A Dunya which prevents one from approaching Allah and His Rasul (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) is a Dunya which is cursed from which a true Deendaar will always keep away. He sacrifices very little to acquire enormously. The greatest stupid is that Dunyadaar who sacrifices the eternal for a little which he will enjoy for a very short time.

"Youth is a stage of madness." [Hazrat Abdullah Bin Mas'ud (Radiyallaahu Anhu)]

"Do not interfere with something that does not concern you. Beware of your enemy. Keep a distance from your friend. And do not trust your intimate friend except if he is honest. And there is no one who is honest except someone who has the fear of Allah Ta'ala." [Hazrat 'Umar (Radiyallaahu Anhu)]
