The ideal society

Knowledge makes you aware of your right and duty. And sincerity makes you assume your duty before claiming your right. Each person will get his right automatically with ease when each person knows how to assume his duty and his responsibility. A society where everyone gets his right is truly an ideal and prosperous society. And this is attainable when everyone assumes his responsibility properly. So, prosperity is found in promoting the knowledge of Deen and in inculcating sincerity. Sincerity makes a person live for Allah Ta'ala. When a person lives for Allah Ta'ala, he does not cause harm to anyone. He makes sure that no one gets difficulties through him/is harmed due to him. He respects the rights of his neighbour, his colleagues at work and the general public. Unfortunately, these things no longer exist. Where it is supposed to exist, there also it does not exist as it should. That is why quarrels and disputes are seen everywhere. People have problems on the street, in the market and at work. Without forgetting that this does not spare the religious instances and the places of worship also.

In general, people are becoming more and more selfish rather than sincere. Sympathy, affection and sincerity are only to embellish the pages and to spice up the speeches. Simple arguments suffice to break a long-term friendship. Friendship continues/remains/is sustained/survives only when everything is normal. The moment that the interest of one is threatened, it is the friendship that pays the consequences. No one wants to accept his mistake. Even if he knows that he is wrong, he will always tend to prove himself right. So how can a person live in peace in such a climate? Is it not at least recommended, not to say obligatory, to integrate moral values as a subject in our syllabus at all levels, be it pre-primary, primary, secondary or tertiary? It is this same subject that, at a certain level, may allow Insaan to live as Insaan. This is what makes Insaan stand out from his identity. Otherwise he becomes more dangerous and harmful than ferocious animals in the forest.
