Social life

Balance in the society

Insaan did not create this world. Thus, Insaan will not be able to decide how this world should function. And even Insaan was not created automatically. He has a Creator who gave him existence. It is the very Supreme Creator who should decide how this Insaan should live on earth. Insaan committed a serious mistake. He considered himself as the owner of this world. He considered himself as the administrator of this world. Yet there is a Supreme Creator for everything that we see in front of us and for all that which we do not know.

The society

The quality of a society depends on the way of acting and behaviour of the people of that society. And the behaviour of an individual depends on the quality of education and training.

LIFE

SACRIFICING LIFE

Your life does not belong to you. That is why you are not allowed to live it as you wish. You should live it in the way that pleases the one who gave you life.

What we should have done ...

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

"A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim. He is neither unjust to him nor does he abandon him." (Muslim)

Fi Sabeelillah

Fi Sabeelillah or in the path of Allah, is a term that people in general understand it to be Jihaad. And when we speak of Jihaad, we cannot prevent ourselves from thinking of the battlefield. Nonetheless, in reality, it is a broader term that includes everything that a person does for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala.

According to a Hadith, Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

What you can do for the next person

You may not have the means to help the next person financially. You may not have what he needs and the amount that he needs. Nonetheless, what we all can do for the next person, does not necessitate having the means. Without having the means, we can all do it. That is, we can all make Dua for the next person. We can refrain from putting him in trouble. We can refrain from insulting him. We can refrain from denigrating him. Similarly, we can refrain from being jealous of the next person. Do we need the means to do these things also?

Hadith

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

"Certainly, going out in the path of Allah in the morning or in the afternoon, is better than the Dunya (the world) and all that which it contains." (Bukhari)
