Hadith

"That person, whose neighbour is not safe from his evils, will not enter Jannah." (Bukhari / Muslim)

Explanation:

Jannah depicts absolute good fortune and eternal salvation. According to this Hadith, when a person ruins the life of his neighbour by his evils, he does not deserve this good fortune.

Politics

Politics is like a ferocious lion. If one does not control it properly, it will devour one. There are many that have been devoured. And there are still many who are waiting to be devoured. Thus, it is not easy. If one has been able to come out from there even with a few scratches, it is still good and it is one’s good fortune. However, in principle, those who joined it, didn't come back safe and sound.

Do not denigrate the next person

Being a human being, everyone has a dignity that must be preserved. No one should take the honour of his friend and denigrate him. It is possible that a person, who is suffering a certain kind of humiliation today, may have humiliated someone before. And the person, who is denigrating his friend today, must expect that someone may denigrate him tomorrow.

Hadith

“A Muslim is a brother for (another) Muslim. He must not oppress him nor must he abandon him (in some difficulty or allow someone to oppress him). The one who occupies himself in solving the problem of his brother, Allah will solve his problem. The one who relieves a Muslim of a difficulty, Allah will relieve him of one difficulty among the difficulties of Qiyamah. The one who conceals the shortcomings of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his shortcomings on the day of Qiyamah." (Saheeh Bukhari / Saheeh Muslim)

Settlement of accounts

A just leader does not apply the bad principle that is known as settlement of accounts whereby he takes revenge against those who do not agree with him. A just leader acts impartially. He honours his opponents if the opponents are right and grants them what they deserve. On the other hand, he does not hesitate to take action against his supporters if they are at fault.

The ideal society

Knowledge makes you aware of your right and duty. And sincerity makes you assume your duty before claiming your right. Each person will get his right automatically with ease when each person knows how to assume his duty and his responsibility. A society where everyone gets his right is truly an ideal and prosperous society. And this is attainable when everyone assumes his responsibility properly. So, prosperity is found in promoting the knowledge of Deen and in inculcating sincerity. Sincerity makes a person live for Allah Ta'ala.

A free nation and an independent country

A country becomes a country by the people who live in that country. A developed country is a country whose citizens are developed. A country does not necessarily become rich by its natural resources. We find many countries that are very rich in natural resources but are extremely underdeveloped. It all depends on the people who live in that country.
