Way of life

This life is temporary. We must live it well because we will not get it again. To live this life well means to live it for the pleasure of the One who has granted this life to us. Who can this Being be besides Allah Ta’ala?

Allah Ta’ala is the Creator. There is no Creator besides Him. Thus, we must live this life for His pleasure. And this is achievable when we live it according to His commandments. If we want to see this way of living in practice, we just have to see the way and model of our beloved Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Those, who have lived according to this way, have led a respectable life. Their lives became profitable for themselves and for others. On the other hand, those who have strayed from this way of life have always been a nuisance and a heavy load for the society.

Allah Ta’ala has designated our Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) as the only model to follow in order to lead this life. It is this way of life that makes Insaan become Insaan and it is this way of life that makes him appear as Insaan. This way of living shows us how our interior and exterior should be. The one who has not lived it, means that he did not know how to live it. It is very sad if we are unaware how to live the life that we have got to build our Aakhirah. It is like a candidate who did not know how to work in the exam room. The person who did not know how to live, is more unfortunate than this candidate because that person will not have another opportunity to live it in order to improve his condition.
