A mundane / trivial / an insignificant answer
The leader of a supposedly Islamic country was interrogated in regards to the presence of casinos, nightclubs and Haraam centres in his country. He replied that he has also built Masjids in his country. On the contrary, there are more Masjids than Haraam centres.
Remark:
A good leader of a country is like a father to his children who he is very concerned about the well-being of his children. A good father cannot put both medicine and poison on the table in front of his children and give them the freedom to choose whatever they like. Similarly, a good leader cannot authorise the presence of centres such as casinos, taverns, nightclubs, etc. that corrupt the mind of his people, make them crawl, make them become selfish and a danger to the public. Even if there are Masjids in great numbers, they cannot play their role as they should as long as there is freedom to go to these filthy places.
The like of this country is that of a person who has applied a lot of perfume but at the same time, has rubbed a little impurity of a cat on his body. It goes without saying that this little impurity will dominate all the perfume that he had applied. Thus, it is not as important to apply a lot of perfume as it is to wash out that little impurity. Similarly, the main thing is not to increase the number of Masjids but to close these impure centres such as casinos, taverns, nightclubs, etc, even if they are very few. We need to focus more on cleaning than beautification / embellishing.
Nowadays, we see the opening of many educational centres, but at the same time, alcoholic beverages are also increasing to such an extent that we do not hesitate to say: “Our country, our beer." That is why people are misusing their education and are becoming cunning instead of wise. Educational centres have failed to play their role that they were supposed to, because there are centres that make good people also lose their senses.
