Romancing

Romancing before marriage is a principle of Jahiliyyah. It is the conduct of the Kaafir. The anger and curse of Allah Ta’ala falls on that boy and girl who do this and also on their parents who authorise this in their house. The biggest culprits herein are the parents who do not agree to perform the Nikah as soon as both parties have accepted. They delay it for a considerable amount of time before finally fixing a date. In the meanwhile, the boy and the girl are committing evil without this disturbing the parents who may have already performed a dozen of Hajj also. It is very sad that Muslims tolerate such behaviour in their houses.
