Taking a wise stand

I know you love your baby very much. In fact, everyone must love their child. According to a Hadith of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), a person loves his children due to the compassion that Allah Ta’ala has put in his heart. So, that is why, everyone loves their children, whether they are good or bad. But it should not be that the love for one’s child makes one have an extreme disgust for that mosquito that has landed on his forehead. One must not lose control by taking revenge from that mosquito. Let’s say if one strikes hard to kill that mosquito, there is no doubt that one may kill it or miss it. Nevertheless, did one imagine what will be the condition of the face of one’s child whom one loves a lot? It is one’s child who will suffer the blow. And it is the face of one’s beloved child that will be wounded or disfigured. And that also, without one’s goal being attained.

This example shows that it is not wise to solve a problem by creating a problem that is more grave. That is why Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) had abandoned the idea of rebuilding the Ka'bah according to the plan of Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam).
