Advice

Take advice

When one has to do a task, it is good to take advice. To be able to get good advice, we must always ask people who:

  1. Have experience in the field,

  2. Have a good knowledge of Deen and

  3. Are sincere to themselves and to others.

AN ADVICE

In order to create harmony, peace and justice, it is very important to assume our responsibility before claiming our right. The contrary is taking place everywhere. That is why insecurity, injustice and instability are becoming widespread everywhere at all levels.

Ask for advice ...

If one wants to seek advice from a person, then 3 criteria in regards to that person should be considered:

1. He must be sincere.

2. He must have knowledge of Deen.

3. He must have experience and knows the field in which he is being asked for advice.

Taking a wise stand

I know you love your baby very much. In fact, everyone must love their child. According to a Hadith of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), a person loves his children due to the compassion that Allah Ta’ala has put in his heart. So, that is why, everyone loves their children, whether they are good or bad. But it should not be that the love for one’s child makes one have an extreme disgust for that mosquito that has landed on his forehead. One must not lose control by taking revenge from that mosquito.

Health

One knows the value of a thing when one loses it. Today, we have health. But we do not know its value because ours might be sound and in good condition. This is what happens when we have something in great quantity or in abundance. Youth age is usually associated with courage, energy and good health. Seldom does a youngster know the value of these favours. That is why their health is incorrectly utilised. Maybe it is their young age that does not allow them to understand what a privilege they have. But there is something which is called experience.

Health

One knows the value of a thing when one loses it. Today one has health but one does not know its value. Ask those who lost it. One must know how to benefit from the experience of others. If one knew its value, one would use it where it should be used.

A difficult life

If one wants to live in well-being, then one must stop committing sins. Otherwise, life will be difficult even if one does not feel it but when one will become sober, it will be too late. All the negative things that one could have done in one's life can be erased. One only has to supplicate to Allah Ta’ala for one's plight and ask Him for forgiveness. This will brighten one's life just as sins had made it wither /make it dark (hard).
