Da'wah

In order to do Da'wah, a person must first have a good knowledge of what he is teaching or propagating in order to disseminate what is correct and authentic.

To improve the effectiveness of his Da'wah, a person must act according to what he is propagating. Otherwise, people will be right in judging him wrongly and they will not listen to him. He must do it with Ikhlaas (sincerity) which will encourage him to continue his struggle even if no one is willing to listen to him also because the sincerity with which he is working, will make him understand that he is doing this for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala. And this is being achieved even if no one is listening to him.

To do the work of Da'wah, a person must be polite and kind to those whom he is addressing. His attitude must be rather wise than demanding or arbitrary which will make him act as a tyrant. And finally, he must never underestimate those whom he is addressing. He must always be humble so that it leads him to understand that he is the one who is more concerned of what he is propagating. He must never consider himself superior.

Without these five aspects, it is difficult to see the desired effect of the work of Da'wah.
