THE ROUT

We were able to fight our Nafs during the month of Ramadan by the grace of Allah Ta’ala. We have been able to stop or at least reduce our evil deeds and we noticed that our life went smoothly without that too. Our expenses also may have diminished. In short, we did our best to obey the commandments of Allah Ta’ala. That's why we did not even celebrate a wedding during this month because there are a lot of customs in a wedding that are immoral, indecent and against the Shari'ah. This shows that we know very well that apart from a few number, everything that happens in weddings is against the law of Allah Ta’ala and the principle of our Nabi (Sallallahou Alaihi Wasalam)‎.

Alhamdulillaah we had some consideration for Deen that prevented us from disobeying Allah and his Rasul ‎(Sallallahou Alaihi Wasalam)‎ at least during the month of Ramadan. How good it would be if we continue in this manner. Life in this world and in the hereafter would both be pleasant.

Allah Ta’ala placed our success by following the Deen. How is it possible to achieve it by breaking the law of Allah Ta’ala? It's like intending to go to Souillac but we take the direction of Grand Bay.

 Hazrat 'Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu)‎ said: "We were a community without dignity, Allah Ta’ala gave us dignity through Islam. If we want it through another means, Allah Ta’ala will dishonour us."
