Dunya

From the time that you came into this Dunya, this Dunya has begun to drift away from you. And every instant, it is drifting away from you. It will never get close to you. It is as if you love a person who is turning his back on you. 

Dunya has never belonged to anyone nor will it ever belong to anyone. Dunya is a deception or it is like a dream. You dream about beautiful things but when your dream is broken, there is nothing besides regret. Or it is like a mirage that gives a completely different image of its reality / of what it is. People, who run in the direction of a mirage, are living in illusion.

Note that whatever brings you closer to Allah Ta’ala is the Aakhirah, even if it is in the form of Dunya. And whatever distances you from Allah Ta’ala is the Dunya, even if it is in the form of Ibaadah. So, living for Aakhirah means living in the obedience of Allah Ta’ala by following the Mubarak Tareeqah (the sacred and blessed principle) of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) with the sole purpose of pleasing Allah Ta’ala.
