Debates on M.P.L.

It does not seem that the debates that are being done on M.P.L. at several levels will lead to anything positive. This is because the discussion is taking place wrongfully. This had to be done on three very essential points:

  1. Is there a Supreme Being who created the Universe?

  2. Is Qur’an-e-Kareem the message of this Supreme Being to humanity?

  3. Is Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) not only the last Prophet but also the greatest Nabi of this Supreme Being?

If these three points are established, all problems will be solved. This is because when it will be established that Qur’an-e-Kareem is the last message of Allah Ta’ala that was revealed to the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), it will suffice to believe and accept that everything that it contains, is true, correct and in the interest of the entire humanity although it is possible that we may not understand certain things or certain points in it.

Throughout the world, there are many laws that are in force and there are many people who do not understand the reasons for the existence of these laws. However, no country in the world authorises anyone to neglect certain law on the grounds with the excuse that one does not understand a certain point. This allows us to say that the world agrees unanimously that a law remains a law that must be respected even if certain points in it are not understood.

The fact that Qur'aan-e-Kareem has been revealed from Allah Ta’ala to Rasulullah Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), is a reality that has been testified by a whole generation. And this has been transmitted from generation to generation.

There were many who were bitter enemies to Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) but finally, they could not resist this reality and had to accept it. Those who continued to oppose it, did so merely out of pride. Nevertheless, they also have understood this truth very well.

These are historical facts and data that have been preserved from all kinds of manipulation and have been transmitted from generation to generation in the most authentic way possible. To turn the back against such facts resembles opposing the historical facts. This will be a way of refusing to accept the existence of something that is called history.

As for Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), a whole nation had the opportunity to live with him for a considerable amount of time. This allowed them to observe him down to the smallest details. They have studied his exemplary and incomparable characters in all circumstances. This led them to only one conclusion: Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) is a Nabi (Prophet) because only a Nabi can possess such noble character and the eloquent message that he is conveying is of such eloquence that exceeds human capacity. Moreover, the miracles that he has showed are also proofs that he is a Nabi. This shows that there is another force that is operating behind this. And this force is the Divine force.

The miracles that were showed by Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) were testified by everyone. If the world still considers something called testimony, there will be no reason to reject these miracles based on false excuses of them being merely tales. Is it not on the very same basis of testimony that judgment is rendered in court and in tribunal? Is it not through testimony that the court condemns an accused person to death penalty? The facts of the world are showing that testimony must be accepted and must be taken into consideration if the testimony comes from someone who is trustworthy.

We should know that the veracity of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) and his miracles and the authenticity of the message that he has brought in the form of Qur'aan-e-Kareem, are based on strong and categorical testimonies. Therefore, there is no reason not to take it into consideration. It is so categorical that a person who refuses to accept it will have no justification or reason to justify it besides saying that he does not accept it.

When we have accepted that Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) is the messenger of Allah Ta’ala and Qur'aan-e-Kareem is the message of Allah Ta’ala to humanity which still exists in its original form without any manipulation or falsification, the question of not practicing it, will not arise. The question of inequality, injustice or discrimination will not even arise because it is the message of the Supreme Creator who is Just, Wise and The Great Knower. It is He only who knows who is in need, what he needs, how much he needs, when does he need it and in what way does he need it. Only the most stupid person can claim to know better than the Supreme Creator.
