Speak the truth!

Speak the truth! Are you more grieved when you miss a Salah or when you lose money? This depends on whether you are a person in Deen or you love Dunya. If you love your Deen, you will be more grieved when you happen to miss a Salah. We do not say that you will not be sad when you lose money or some worldly thing. It is very normal for a person to be affected when he loses something. However, a person in Deen feels a bit more grieved when he misses Salah.

Speak the truth! Does your wife dress for you or to show off? If it is true that she does not dress for others, why does she empty her wardrobe when she goes out? And at home, you may not recognise her, at times!

A woman has the right to be well-dressed. However, she must do it for her husband at home. She does not have the right to expose the charm and beauty that Allah Ta’ala has given her in front of male strangers. It is a very grave sin. Even a beautiful person appears very ugly in the eyes of the angels, if he happens to commit a sin. When Allah Ta’ala has given us beauty, let’s preserve it in order to appear beautiful physically and spiritually, also.

Speak the truth! Does a face having a beard according to the Sunnah or a well-shaven face, resemble the face of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) more? However much you may justify yourself, but deep down, you must acknowledge that shaving the beard was never an Islamic practice. If you do not have the willpower to keep it as yet, you must not criticise those who keep it, nor should you say that there is nothing wrong in not keeping it. If despite your appreciation, you are not being able to keep a beard for some reason, we hope that one day you will be able to keep it.

Speak the truth! Doesn’t Hazrat 'Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) know what does Bid'ah mean better than you? You cannot claim the contrary. Then, why do you qualify a practice that Hazrat 'Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) approved of, as Bid'ah? Hazrat 'Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) approved 20 Rak'aat of Taraweeh, but you labelled it as Bid'ah. Hazrat 'Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) considered three Talaaq, pronounced at once, as three Talaaq. And according to your calculation, it is counted as one. You cannot claim to know Deen and understand the Hadith of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) better than Hazrat 'Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu). Speak the truth! Is it true or not?

Speak the truth! Isn't it better to do Khutbah of Jummah in Arabic? The Ummah has always practiced it in this way since the beginning. If you have no animosity in you, then why did you start doing it in Creole thereby upsetting the Ummah? What benefit did you get besides causing division among Muslims? Those, who were celebrating Eid one day before everyone, have realised their mistake. We salute their courage of aligning themselves with the Ummah. We must not wait for the situation to aggravate in order to retract. May Allah Ta’ala give us Tawfeeq to acknowledge our mistake!
