Pride
A good Muslim cannot have pride. In a Hadith, it is mentioned that if a person has pride an amount equivalent to a mustard seed, he will not enter Jannah. This shows that pride is a poison that deprives a person of his well-being and it has the ability to ruin his future for eternity. What happened to Shaitan was due to pride. He refused to accept the command of Allah Ta’ala due to pride. Finally, Allah Ta’ala has cursed him forever.
A person should think that what special merit does he possess to have pride? Just like everyone, he will also have to lay down under the soil one day. He has been created from soil and finally, he will become soil again.
