A NEW FITNA

There is a rumour that is going around that there is no Aa'lim in Mauritius. Such a statement has no other benefit than creating a great Fitna in the community. This is because even the Kaafir also refused to accept our Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) as the messenger of Allah Ta’ala merely to have an excuse not to follow him. Similarly, this evil statement (Stated above) will have its effect. The public will lead their lives as they wish and will not listen to anyone saying there is no Aa'lim in Mauritius. This will cause total anarchy.

We may say that there is no Aa'lim like those of previous eras. However, to say that there is no Aa'lim due to this, is fallacious and it indicates the bad faith of the person who says it. If ever we allow ourselves to say this, then we must say that there is no human in Mauritius as there are no "good" humans like those of previous eras. If a person allows himself to say that, he is allowed to say so in regards to himself, not in regards to the next person. This is because every person knows his origin better than anyone else. As for us, we acknowledge that we are the children of Hazrat Adam (Alaihis Salaam) and that there are many Ulama who can teach the general public what they require in Deen.
