Message to the Daa-i

The brothers who have engaged themselves in the work of Da'wah should know that the work of Da'wah is not that easy. There are a lot of difficulties and sacrifices to make. Going from door to door while leaving one’s wife and children to go abroad for the sole purpose of pleasing Allah Ta’ala, is a mission which Allah Ta’ala assigns to those whom He really loves. Some brothers get this golden opportunity particularly during the month of Ramadhan. It is a sign that Allah Ta’ala wants "Khair" (well-being) for these brothers. 

As for the obstacle that is coming about lately from a group, it is something that was present all the time and that will be present all the time. However, it is to be noted that the vain attempts to stop the train of Da'wah that is going at high speed, cannot emanate from those whom Allah Ta’ala has granted the true Nur-e-I'lm and wisdom. 

At a time when the 'Ummah is dying without Imaan or without knowing Deen and is facing grave problems at all levels, both nationally and internationally, we should rather work on uniting the 'Ummah. Instead of this, implanting elements that causes divisions such as “Khutbah in Creole” to break the unity of the community, is not a good step towards the progress of the 'Ummah. Similarly, issues such as Wahdat-ul-Wujud, is not a subject that needs to be addressed especially when the public and the young Daa-i do not have the ability to understand this nor do they have the willpower to understand it from those who understand it. 

However we notice that there are valid Da-i of all trends who are considered as a great fortune for the 'Ummah which the 'Ummah should not lose. Their step to create harmony among the Da-i is a laudable and appreciable step. Insha Allah, through the sincere steps of these Da-i, there is hope in Allah Ta’ala that the confusion and dissension that there is in the horizon of Da'wah will be dispelled.
