- APPLICATION FOR HALAL CERTIFICATE
Zulm or injustice
When a person deserves something, it should be given to him. Not giving a person what he deserves is labelled as Zulm. A person who does Zulm is called a Zaalim and the person who bears Zulm is called a Mazlum. A Zaalim will be held into account by Allah Ta’ala and remains under the wrath of Allah Ta’ala throughout his life as long as he does not stop making Zulm. When the heart of a Mazlum (oppressed) is hurt, there is no barrier between him and Allah Ta’ala. That is, Allah accepts his supplication and takes action against the Zaalim. If Allah Ta’ala has decided to take action against a person, then who can protect him? This is how a Zaalim remains without protection all the time and may be caught all of a sudden. And besides, in the tribunal of Allah Ta’ala, he will have to give an account whereby no influence will be of any use to prevent justice from following its course.
The person, who is guilty of Zulm, will have to compensate his victim. Compensation will not be made with money or worldly wealth. First of all, the good deeds of the culprit will be used to compensate the victim. If his good deeds are not sufficient, then he will have to take the sins of the victim on his shoulders. It is not easy at all as firstly, one loses everything that one has, and secondly, one takes the burdens of others!
Favouritism
To boycott one who deserves and give it to someone else who does not deserve is Zulm (injustice). This kind of Zulm is known as favouritism or nepotism. It is generally practiced by those who are at the head of an establishment. First of all, it is an injustice to the person who has been boycotted and secondly it is an injustice to the entire nation of a country. This is because the population in general does not receive a good service due to the incompetence of the person who has been selected by favouritism.
The greatest Zulm
Shirk or to associate a partner with Allah Ta’ala is the greatest Zulm because it is Allah alone who deserves to be worshipped. This is a right of Allah Ta’ala. To associate a person with Allah Ta’ala or to worship someone else besides Allah Ta’ala, is the greatest Zulm as the right of Allah Ta’ala is snatched and is given to one who does not deserve it at all in any way. That is why its punishment is very severe. The one, who dies on Shirk without making Taubah, will remain in hell forever.
"Allah has definitely forbidden Jannah for the one who attributes a partner to Allah and his abode shall be the Fire." (S 5: V 72)
