Sunnah of Fajr

Question: I missed the Sunnah of Fajr. Can I replace it after Farz?

Answer: No, it is not permissible to replace the Sunnah of Fajr after Farz. Rather, you should replace it anytime after sunrise until before Zawaal. After Zawaal, it will not be permissible to replace it.

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "The one, who did not perform the two Rak'aat (Sunnah) of Fajr, should replace it after sunrise." (Tirmizi)

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "There is no Salah after (Farz) Fajr until sunrise ..." (Bukhari and Muslim)
