Stop harming yourself

A person whose life is not according to Deen, is first of all, causing himself an immense harm. Moreover, he is a nuisance for the whole humanity. The sin which he commits attracts the wrath and the curse of Allah Ta'ala. This closes the door of the favours of Allah Ta'ala which descend on earth in the form of rain, health, prosperity and joy. In this way, it is a cause of harm to others also. That is why animals also curse such a person. This nuisance does not spare his close ones nor his beloved ones.

In this way, a perverse person is an enemy of his loved ones also. Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) described the death of such a person as a relief for all the creation.

"والعبد الفاجر يستريح منه العباد والبلاد والشجر والدواب" ...

"People, places/localities, trees and animals are relieved by the death of a perverse person."

That is why a person should not only stop sinning, but he should alsonot become a means of sin. Otherwise, in reality, we are shackling ourselves and we are rendering ourselves miserable due to the desire of being entertained in amusements without limits.

Hence, we liberate ourselves by entering the Deen and we chain ourselves when we free ourselves of Deen.
