Reflection

One does not justify the other

One should not discourage a person from doing a good thing due to a certain shortcomings of his. Today, we are living in a time where people are moving away from Deen. As far as possible, they should be encouraged to do good. They should not be discouraged from doing good deeds due to a sin which they are committing. For example, if a person does not perform any Salah besides Jummah, then, one should not tell him: "What is the point of performing Jummah when you are not performing the other Salah".

When you were born and came in this world, you were crying

When you were born and came in this world, you were crying, while your close ones and people around you were laughing. Live on this earth in a way that when you die, you will be smiling while people will be crying. You will be smiling as you will be going to meet your Rabb and people will be crying as they will be separating from a good person.

The history of the earth

Allah Ta'ala has created you from the soil.

Do not put this soil in the soil

For a small portion of land

We shall put on earth

What comes out of the earth

To finally become soil!

Do not blame the mirror

To see the marks on your face, you must look at the mirror. However, if you see a defect, you must not blame the mirror, rather try to remove the marks on your face because the defect is in you. If someone has to be blamed, it is you who should be blamed. The mirror helped you by showing you what is on your face. The mirror has no defect. Similarly, if a person draws your attention to a defect in you, you should be grateful to that person. You should not be angry with him.

After reaching the age of forty

After reaching the age of forty,

You are going downhill.

Completed has been the ascent,

Now you are in the descent.

The honour of a person

The honour of a person lies in his honesty,

His strength in his sincerity,

And his beauty in his simplicity.

Value of Imaan

Hazrat Abu Bakr (Radiyallaahu Anhu):

"Will there be downfall in Deen while I'm alive? I will fight them as long as the sword remains in my hand."

Hazrat Abu Bakr (Radiyallaahu Anhu) was willing to sacrifice even his life to preserve Deen. Nowadays we do not know the value of Deen anymore and we are leaving the Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Yet we have no constraint. Not only do we neglect this but we discourage those who practice it!
