Assalaamu alaikum Which brand of fish finger is halaal please?

Assalaam,

As far as I understand only fish is halaal as per the Hanaif mazhaab. This implies that all other seafood are haraam and by consuming them someone is committing a great sin. Islam is the religion of Allah and is therefore perfect. The other mazhaab do not consider seafood as haraam and it implies that by consuming them a non-hanafi muslim is not committing a sin.

As per my understanding Allah cannot make somethingd halaal for one group of people and at the same time making it haraam for another group of people. Definitely there is something wrong here. Either seafood is halaal for ALL muslims or haraam for ALL muslims. Difference of opinion do exist in Islam but I don't think it should exist on such things as Haraam and Halaal for only Allah can decree something to be halaal or haraam. Please clarify.

assalamualikum. someone told me that our prophet allalahu alaihi wa sallam ate all creature in the sea inluding crustacean . i said to him that in the maezhab of hanafee only fish is halaal in the ocean .he a asked a molana if he can eat crustacean,octopus,crab,etc... . the molana replied that only pork is haraam is mentioned in the quraan and nowhere is mentioned that crustacean,octopus,crab,etc... is makrouh or makrouh e tehrimi so you can eat all creatures in the sea.

In Rodrigue and Mauritius many hanafis eat octopust and sea foods other than fish. And they are so used to partaking it that it is hard to prohibit them. please advise.
