Sins

Did you know that …

1. Zina is one of the most serious sins.

2. Those who commit Zina will burn in hell.

3. Zina attracts the wrath and curse of Allah Ta'ala.

4. Zina leads to destruction.

5. Zina removes Barakah and blessing.

6. Zina removes Nur from the heart and face of the person who commits it.

7. Zina brings about poverty.

The Barakah of abstaining from sins

When a person abstains from sin, Allah Ta'ala gives him the will to do good deeds by creating the love and the willingness of doing this action in his heart. Once he gets this fervour or enthusiasm, it will be difficult to neglect good deeds just as it was difficult to do them in the beginning when he was immersed in sin.

Finding fault where there is no fault

A person, whom Allah Ta'ala has blinded him in regards to his own shortcoming, finds fault in people where there is no fault.

A lowly act

If one hears someone speaking ill about someone, one should not relate it to him because that will not please him. It is not good to spoil the mood of a person by narrating to him negative things which people have said about him. Besides, there is no benefit in knowing what people think of him. However, if he is doing something evil, then one must look for some other way which is more appropriate and effective to remedy the situation.

Looking for the shortcoming of others

Allah Ta'ala says:

"Do not look for the shortcoming (of others)." (S 49: V 12)

Snack food

Allah Ta'ala has granted Insaan a dignity which He did not grant to other creatures. But Insaan is ungrateful. He doesn't know the value of what he got. He has turned his back on the commandments of Allah Ta'ala. And when someone forgets Allah Ta'ala, he inevitably forgets what he is, himself. He falls into lowliness. He acts like animals which do not have intellect. An animal does not take in consideration anything when it has to fulfil its desire. It has neither shame, nor modesty or hesitation. Insaan are also becoming like this. They are becoming shameless.

Criticising the pious people

"When Allah wants to dishonour someone, He makes him criticise the pious people." (Sheikh Jalaalouddeen Rumi (Rahmatoullaahi alayh))
