Explanation:

Taking pills so as not to get Haiz

Question:

Is it permissible for a woman to take pills for her not to get Haiz (menstruation) during the month of Ramadhan or during Hajj?

Answer:

Miscarriage

When a woman has a miscarriage, one must see if whatever has come out, has a body shape that can be distinguished. If there is any organ that has been formed, it is considered as a baby that is as though the woman gave birth. If a woman was in Iddat of Talaaq or Iddat of the death of her husband, her Iddat will end by such miscarriage. On the other hand, if nothing can be distinguished, it will be a mere bleeding. This bleeding will be considered as haiz under 2 conditions: Firstly, the bleeding must last for 72 hours or more.
