Preparing the "Halwa" - "Roti" on the occasion of Shabb-e-Baraat

Al-Waasi

Waasi means vast. When someone says that Allah Ta'ala is Waasi, it means that Allah Ta'ala is beyond all dimensions. The Throne of Allah Ta'ala covers the sky, the earth and all the creation. Allah Ta'ala has control and authority over every single thing. Nothing is beyond His kingdom. His blessings and grace are open to all. Everyone is in need of Allah Ta'ala. Nothing is independent of His favour at any stage, level, and in any aspect. The knowledge of Allah Ta'ala encompasses every atom of the universe in all its details.

Al-Hakeem

Hakeem is derived from Hikma. Hikma means wisdom, mastery and perfection. Nothing is perfect besides Allah Ta'ala. The work of Allah Ta'ala exceeds all mastery and He is beyond all expertise. So in actual fact, Allah Ta'ala alone is Al-Hakeem because His knowledge and His work are perfect. It is He who had fashioned every atom of the universe into a balanced and appropriate form and dimension.
