Dua

Dua

Dua is a humble request that a person makes to his Rabb. He presents his necessities, needs, difficulties and ambitions to his Rabb. He implores his Rabb to grant him his necessities and his needs. He implores Him to remove his difficulties. He implores Him to make him succeed in his goals and ambitions. The more humble a person is in his request, the more there will be chance of acceptance. Humility is the most essential factor in Dua. It is this very humility that makes Dua the essence of Ibaadah.

Dua

O Allah, at least make me become just the dust of the Mubarak shoes of your Rasul (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). This suffices for my eternal salvation! This is because the dust also will enter together with the shoes when Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) will enter Jannah.

Dua for the next person

A person who makes Dua for the next person has the privilege of having an angel making Dua for him. There is no doubt that the Dua that this angel asks for is accepted because it is Allah Ta'ala Himself who appoints him to make Dua. It is unthinkable that Allah Ta'ala designates an angel to make Dua and He does not accept it. This shows that our good fortune lies in wishing the well-being of the next person.

Ask for forgiveness

Asking Allah Ta'ala for forgiveness is a very great 'Ibaadah. It is a practice that Allah Ta'ala appreciates a lot. It is an action that emanates from regret and remorse that a person experiences when he feels guilty. It is an Ibaadah which is filled with humility. Humility is something that Allah Ta'ala loves a lot. Thus, asking for forgiveness purifies a person and brings him close to Allah Ta'ala simultaneously.
