Dua

Dial the appropriate number

The control of everything is only in the hand of Allah Ta'ala. Allah Ta'ala controls everything. Indeed, no one has control over anything. Health, disease, wealth, poverty, happiness, misfortune, honour and dishonour, everything is in the hands of Allah Ta'ala. The solution of all problems is in His hand. He hears when we speak to Him. He answers when we invoke Him. He knows when we think of Him. He is present when we need Him. He gives us when we ask Him. But, one must dial the appropriate number.

Is there anything more beautiful than that?

You see someone sitting on a branch. You intend to cause him harm. You are tempted to have this tree cut. But fortunately, you realised in time that you are also sitting on another branch of the same tree. Otherwise there would have been a great misfortune. In trying to sink the boat of another, you would have drowned yourself. We should not wish for the misfortune of others. We should not harm others. Who knows that your well-being may be found in the well-being of the person whom you want to harm. Is it wise to harm yourself?

Dua

It is quite normal that in time of difficulty or distress, we think of someone who can relieve us. At that moment, several means come to mind. We think of many people and many ways. Not everyone that we think of will be able to help us. There are those who can help us but who will not want to. Similarly, there are those who want to help us but who have impediments and the majority are in the category of those who, practically do not have the ability to help. Now, when we contemplate, we see that the capacity of those who can help us is limited.

Do not hesitate!

Everything that we need for our well-being and that of our close and beloved ones lies in the treasure of Allah Ta'ala. It is such a treasure that never diminishes. It remains intact just as it was before and it will always remain same. Thus, we must not hesitate to ask whatever we want and the amount that we want. We may get tired of asking but Allah Ta'ala does not get tired of granting. Allah Ta'ala is not irritated when people ask Him. On the contrary, Allah Ta'ala loves a person more when he supplicates to Him.

The most appropriate way to make Dua

Before being able to meet a great personality in the Dunya, one must sometimes go through a line of officers and secretaries. This is done for their own security and to avoid inconveniences. And people approve of these measures.

Insaan is weak and vulnerable. That's why he has to do all these. And sometimes he may not grant you access also if he finds that you are a cause of trouble for him.

Dua

The treasure of Allah Ta’ala contains everything that we need. We must ask Allah Ta’ala when we need something and whatever we need in general. According to a Hadith of Tirmizi, Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) addressed Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbaas (Radiyallahu Anhu) and advised him:

"... And when you have to ask, ask Allah Ta’ala and when you need help, ask Allah Ta’ala for help..."

Dua

Dua is the essence and core of Ibadah. Sometimes, even after making a lot of dua to Allah Ta’ala, we do not get what we have been asking for. However, this should not stop us from supplicating to Allah Ta’ala. This is because outwardly, it may seem that we are not getting what we are asking for, but actually, Allah Ta’ala is already rewarding us for making Dua unto Him. Duas that have been made are accepted in several ways.
