Food-Drink

Be careful /Beware!

Muslims in general must take precautions before consuming chickens or chicken products. For years, those who do not believe in Allah and His Rasul (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) have destroyed our Ibaadah during Ramadhan and outside Ramadhan by making us consume foods/products that are not Halaal. What is even worse is that all this has happened with the complicity and the negligence of those who believe in Allah and His Rasul (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) like us.

Best Food

ما اكل احد طعاما قط خيرا من ان ياكل من عمل يديه وان نبى الله داؤد عليه السلام كان ياكل من عمل يديه

(البخارى)

"Nobody ever ate any food better than what he earned by the effort of his hands." Certainly the Nabi of Allah Ta'ala, (Hazrat) Daawud (Alaihis Salaam) used to eat food from what he earned from the efforts of his hands." (Bukhari)

Explanation:

Zamzam water

It is the water that Allah Ta'ala has made to gush from the earth through Hazrat Jibril (Alaihimus Salam) to appease the thirst of Hazrat Ismail (Alaihimus Salam). According to a Hadith, the best drink is water and the best water in this world is Zamzam water which can be used as food and can also be used as a means of Shifaa (cure). According to a Hadith of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), the water of Zamzam is for whatever aim it was drunk for. That is, one can quench one's thirst if one is thirsty, one can use it as a remedy if one is sick.

Principle concerning food

Eating an amount that allows a person to perform his Farz Ibaadah is obligatory. And it is also permissible to eat a little more to get courage and energy. But one is not allowed to eat more than necessary. More than necessary is an amount that can harm one's health. The best way, according to the Hadith, is that a person reserves a portion of his stomach for food, a portion for drink and leaves a portion empty so that he does not suffocate and can breathe well.

Consume whatever is pure

It is reported by Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu Anhu) that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

Before consuming a piece of flesh...

Before eating a piece of flesh, firstly one must ensure that it is the flesh of an animal which one has the right to consume according to the Shariah such as the ox / cow, goat, sheep, deer, hen, etc. and then one must ensure that Zabah was done according to the Shariah.

Haraam food

Haraam food is a poison for the body and for the spiritual health. It prevents the acceptance of our Ibaadah. Dua also will not be accepted even if it's being done with sincerity.

According to a Hadith, a body that is nourished with Haraam food deserves to be burned in the hell.
