Taqleed-Mazhab

This is terrible! This is too much!

A: Assalaamu Alaikum. How is it?

B: Wa'alaikumus salaam. Alright.

A: What are you doing? How are you practicing Deen? Are you still making Taqleed of someone or are you following the Qur’an-e-Kareem and the Hadith directly?

B: Is this something to ask? Me? I should make Taqleed? Are you mad? I am following the Qur’an-e-Kareem and the Hadith directly.

GOLDEN STATEMENT

"IT IS BETTER TO FOLLOW BLINDLY A PERSON WHO SEES CLEARLY THAN TO FOLLOW A BLIND PERSON WITH OPEN EYES!!!"

[English version of "Parole en l'or" – Al Jamiat – Vol.1 No.3]

Following only one Mazhab

To follow the interpretation of only one Imaam in order to follow Deen is a gift. It is true that by following one Imaam only, you are not free. But it is better not to be free than to have such freedom whereby Shaitan begins to play with you and your Deen. You become a follower of your desire and your pleasure. It is not surprising that today you proclaim something to be Haraam, which yesterday you proclaimed to be Farz. It all depends where your advantage and interest lies. Stop living for your advantage. Live for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala.

Isn't it strange???

Isn't it strange that:

  • You continue to sin when you know that Allah Ta’ala is watching you!

  • You are more afraid of people than Allah Ta’ala when you know that there is no one greater than Allah Ta’ala!

  • You imitate others and yet, you say that you love Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) the most!

Salaf and Salafi

Salaf means something which has already occurred. Grandparents or ancestors are called Salaf because they have lived in the distant past.

IMAAM

Imaam means a leader. The person, who leads the Musalli in the Farz Salah, is called an Imaam. Similarly, a person, who leads a country, is called an Imaam.
