Akhlaaq-Tasawwuf

A Maqbul (acceptable) practice

However much you speak, it will not be of any worth until you do not put it into practice. However, we must also know that great works do not have any worth in the eyes of Allah Ta’ala if there is no sincerity. A person can even sacrifice his life but this will not prevent him from hell if he did it for show off. That is not all! The work that one does must be according to the Sunnah of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam).

Make your choice: Organise/Arrange or disorganise/disarrange!

You cannot arrange everything. That is, you will not be able to arrange (organise) everything without disorganising (moving) something. When you arrange something, this may disturb something else. Sometimes, you must disturb something to arrange something else. If you want to eat an omelette, you will have to break the egg. You cannot eat an omelette without breaking an egg. You must disturb an egg if you want to arrange (plan) yourself to eat an omelette.

Istiqamat or stability in Deen

We must do good deeds and for these good deeds to have its desired effect, we must do it regularly. Let’s say if one day, we took a book and we read something, so this is something very beneficial. However, it would be really beneficial if we do it every day. To do something every day and regularly without missing it out is called Istiqamat. The ‘Ulama say that Istiqamat or stability or punctuality on some good deed is worth more than 1000 Karaamat (miracle). This is because lifting a weight of 200-300 pounds for 2-3 seconds is very easy.

Allah, the true beloved

When a person has a good relationship with us, we tend to refrain from anything that may displease him. At times, we receive an invitation from a person. We know very well that this invitation is not within the limits of Islamic principles. However, we are very embarrassed to refuse his invitation just because he is a very good person, who has a very good relationship with us.

Qaazi Sana’oullah (Rahmatullahi Alayh):

"No statement is acceptable as long as it is not put into practice. No practice and statement are acceptable as long as there is no good intention. No intention, practice and statement are acceptable as long as it is not according to the Sunnah."

Youngsters! Know your worth!

Youngsters! You have everything that allows you to make great progress in life. However, you must know how to invest and manage your courage, your knowledge and your time. Who deceived you in believing that your hair must turn grey in order to start being good? If only you knew how your Rabb loves and appreciates your Ibaadat during your youth! Let me tell you, my son, that such an Ibaadah will make you occupy a place under the shade of Allah Ta’ala when everyone will suffer due to the heat of the sun which will be very low.

The most appreciable action by Allah Ta’ala

"The most appreciable action by Allah Ta’ala is an action that is done regularly even if it is little." (Bukhari / Muslim)
