Aqeedah

Mu'tazilah

It is a deviated sect. Their leader is called Waasil Bin ‘Ataa who was together with Hazrat Hassan Basri (Rahmatullahi Alayh). And then he left the circle and went on his own. Those, who follow this sect, do not believe in Karaamat. That is, they do not believe in miracles which were manifested through the hands of the Auliya Allah (the pious people).

THE FIVE KALIMAH, IMAAN MUJMAL AND IMAAN MUFASSAL

The five Kalimah, Imaan Mujmal and Imaan Mufassal that children use to recite in Maktab, have great importance and signification. They are derived from several Aayaat of the Qur’an and several Hadith. It is a mistake to say that they do not have any importance and that it is not worth making the children recite them like parrots. The reason is simple and clear: They enclose the principal Aqeedah (beliefs and conceptions) of Islam.

Wahdat-ul-Wujud

Literally, it means unity of existence. That is there is only one thing that exists. It is a term that has been used by the Ulama of great calibre. Being ambiguous, this has been interpreted in different ways. Nonetheless, the clear and simple interpretation of this is that only the existence of Allah Ta’ala is perfect, complete and real. Besides Him, everything that exists does not represent anything in front of His existence.

Kufr

"There is only one God! It is people who have created division among themselves. Every individual has his own way of worshipping him. And all are good." We often hear people saying such things. It should be noted that this statement is very grave as it is a kind of Kufr. This is because all cannot be good. There is only one way of worship that is good and correct. And this is Islam. We must bear in mind that to accept and believe that all religions are correct is Kufr. We must be very careful.

BUILD OR DEMOLISH

"The one, who shows respect for a person, who is in Bid'ah, has absolutely helped in demolishing Islam." (Al Baihaqi)

Bid'ah is the contrary of Sunnah. First of all, it is good to understand the meaning of Sunnah in order to easily understand the meaning of Bid'ah.

Shabb-e-Baraa'at

Undoubtedly, Shabb-e-Baraa'at - the night of the 15th of Sha’baan or Lailat-ul Bara'at which is called “Suhuruat”, is a blessed night that contains many virtues and benefits. Some people have the guts and courage to say that this night is a normal night and that its virtues are based on fabricated or very weak Hadith. It is a claim that is based on ignorance as there are about 10 Sahaabah (Radiyallahu Anhum) who have reported Hadith regarding the virtues of this great night.

SWIMMING ON THE SAND

My son, Allah is very great. In front of the greatness of Allah Ta’ala, no one has any value. One must not be proud. It is Allah Ta’ala alone who has the ability to do what He wants, when he wants and the way He wants. Everything lies in the hands of Allah Ta’ala. Nothing lies in the hands of anyone. When one will grasp this point, one will not be afraid of anyone besides Allah Ta’ala. Everything that one does, will be solely for His pleasure and if anything displeases Him, one will not do it although one’s beloved ones would want one to do it.
