According to a Hadith found in Abu Dawud which is reported by Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbaas (Radiyallahu Anhu), Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said that in the last era, there will be people who will dye (their hair and beard) with black colour just like the stomach of pigeon. They are those who will not get the scent of Jannah. According to another Hadith found in Saheeh Muslim, Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) commanded to refrain from black colour.

It is not permissible to pluck the eyebrows nor to tattoo. Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said that Allah Ta’ala sends His curses on the one who does this. Similarly, the curse is on the one who practices this profession.

Shaving the beard is a kind of mutilation which Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) has prevented. Mutilation is a way to disfigure the face of a person. A person shaves his beard in order to look handsome, but according to the Shari'ah he is disfigured and appears ugly in front of Allah Ta'ala. The Habeeb of Allah Ta'ala, our Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) and his disciples, that is, the Sahaba-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) and the pious personalities have always kept a beard. Allah Ta'ala likes to glance at His servants who resemble His privileged servants.

Is it obligatory on a woman to cover her face when observing Pardah?
