Stop advancing excuses!

Concerning Dunya, we do not content ourselves on the essential. We always look for the best. A simple food suffices to fill our stomach but we are not satisfied until there is no salad, chilli, ketchup, etc. Likewise, a simple fabric suffices to cover the body but we look for high-class and branded fabrics. In all aspects of life, we always look for supplements and do extravagances. Sometimes, these extravagances cost higher than the essential but we do it because we love it. But concerning Deen, we are always reluctant. We always try to look for a way out.

Habit does not make the monk

"Habit does not make the monk" or "do not judge the bird by its feathers", etc. are proverbs that are true to some extent but unfortunately, they are often applied wrongly. These proverbs can apply to a person who deceives people by his appearance and clothing. But does that mean that a person does not have to dress properly in the Masjid?

Transgression

Be vigilant while driving. Do not cross the white line. Otherwise, one will meet into accident with the vehicle coming in the opposite direction. One must respect the principles and regulations. Otherwise, one will endanger one's life and be a danger to others. The worldly life also is exactly the same. If everyone knows their limits and remains within their limits, then there will be no problem. Exceeding one's limits is called transgression or عدوان. And this is what causes conflict and problems everywhere.

Dayyus

A parent who tolerates his daughter having unlawful and immoral contact is qualified as "Dayyus" by Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). According to the Hadith, a Dayyus will not even get the fragrance of Jannah. And a parent who encourages an immoral relationship is even more serious. Sometimes a girl wants to practice her Deen and wants to wear respectable dress but she is discouraged by her parents who prefer indecent and attractive clothing. This is very reprehensible. This is also considered "Dayyus" or even worse.

Dying the hair and beard black

Question:

What is the opinion of the 'Ulama concerning someone who dyes his hair and beard black? According to the Shari'ah, is it permissible, Makruh or Haraam?

Reply:

It is haraam because warnings have been sounded regarding it in a general and specific way.

N.B: According to the Hadith, those who dye their hair or beard black will not get the fragrance of Jannah.

Sunan-ul-Huda

There are principles that Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) practiced regularly and he advised us to practice. These principles are called Sunan-ul-Huda. That is, principles that keeps a person on the right path which is called Hidaayah.

Allah Ta'ala does not look at one's appearance

Allah Ta'ala does not look at one's body or appearance, rather He looks at one's heart. (Muslim)
