COVERING THE FACE

According to the Shari’ah, in principle/as a rule, a woman should cover her face. She is not allowed to expose it in front of a male stranger. If she does so, then it should be noted that she will be sinful.

Gold jewellery

It is not permissible for males to use gold in the form of jewellery. As for females, it is permissible for them to use gold in the form of jewellery. There are Hadith which give the impression that women also are not allowed to use gold jewellery but according to all scholars, these Hadith, have either been abrogated or apply to women who expose their jewellery in front of male strangers. Similarly, this may apply to those who wear them out of pride.

Reflection!

If some people have no shame in walking unclothed like animals, then why should you hesitate to cover your body while you are dressing the way that pleases your Rabb and your Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam)! You must be proud of your Islamic way because it gives you your real dignity and dimension.

Fracture of Imaan!

If the law of wearing a helmet has been established to avoid any skull fracture, this is an indication of goodwill, sincerity and a desire of the well-being of the population in general. However, when will we decide to prohibit ladies from walking indecently on the street to avoid a fracture of Imaan ???

Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (Rahmatullahi Alayh)

Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (Rahmatullahi Alayh), who is well-known by the world as a very great Wali, has attained this degree and value by sacrificing his honour, his celebrity and his popularity in favour of a very poor person who came from the family of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). The love for Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) is truly an inestimable and an incomparable gift.

An evil desire

In this world, there are all types of desires. Evil desire is widespread everywhere. One such evil is the desire for our appearance to be of that which we are not. More than ever, the youngsters of today have this evil desire. With the desire to appear like girls, boys are keeping long hair and are wearing earrings. It is not surprising if tomorrow they will want to wear a nose-ring. It is still fresh in the mind that long ago, actors, who lacked masculinity due to their excessive crying, were qualified as actors of rings.

An iron or copper ring

It is not permissible for both men and women to use a ring that is made of iron or copper.

However, if it is coated with silver, then the iron or copper ring will be permissible for man and woman both and if it is coated with gold, it will only be permissible for women.
