Akhlaaq-Tasawwuf

Time

You live the present which continues to become the past after every fraction of a second while waiting for the future which will not delay to join you and it will also be over.

No one can catch up the time that has already passed even if time has just passed by a second ago. In this sense, a time that has passed, has gone very far from a person. And a time which has not yet come, is something which is very near in the sense that it will not be long before it comes.

Suhbat-e-Saaliheen

Suhbat-e-Saaliheen means to remain in the company of pious people. This has a very good effect on the character of a person. That is why Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) advised us to be careful before befriending someone. We should always look for those who have Deen and good character because a person tends to inculcate the character of people with whom he is more intimate and gets along better. In the same way, it is very important for a person to have a Sheikh or a spiritual guide if he really wants to rectify his shortcomings.

Living for Allah Ta’ala

There are all kinds of mindsets. Thus, there are all types of life on this earth. Each person has an ideal and a purpose. And he lives for that itself.

A Kaafir lives for this Dunya itself because he believes only in this life. Among them are those who live while wanting to "taste" everything. They wander hither and wither merely to eat, drink and entertain themselves. There are those who live solely for their vice such as drugs, casino, etc.

Know the worth of your life

You should know how to preserve the value of the life that Allah Ta’ala has bestowed upon you. A person who knows the value of something will know how to use it based on its worth. You will never see anyone wearing beautiful clothes to clean his garden or his house. Have you ever seen a mechanic wearing a beautiful white-like-milk outfit and repairing an engine full of grease?

The mirror is in front of you

You are hesitant to displease someone who has done you a favour but you are not ashamed to disobey the one who created you and gave you everything that you need? Do you see any logic in becoming the slave of someone who did you a favour in your life and becoming like a rebel against the One who is pouring out His favours on you incessantly?

How to become a good Muslim

The Masjid is a place that has been built to make the Ibaadat of Allah Ta’ala in the form of Salah, Tilawat-ul-Qur'an, Zikrullah, etc. But a person must remain in the obedience of Allah Ta’ala everywhere and not only in the Masjid. He must remain in the obedience of Allah Ta’ala all the time and not only in the month of Ramadan because Allah Ta’ala is our Rabb everywhere and forever.

Ask yourself

"Do you really love yourself?"

You can say ‘Yes” but without knowing that you do not love yourself. Because if you loved yourself, you would not have consumed things that would harm you and you would not have done things that would cause you to burn in hell.  Ask yourself the question? Who is your real enemy? Now, if you don't like yourself, how can you expect people to love you? Learn to love yourself by living according to the commandment of your Creator.
