The world is a prison

الدنيا سجن المؤمن وجنة الكافر (مسلم)

Translation:

"The world is a prison for the Muslim and a paradise for the Kaafir."

Explanation:

A journey without return

Death is a journey without return. People do not come back to earth when they have already passed away. Regret after death is of no use. Even if a person wants to return also, he will not be able to return.

Thus, it is in the interest of a person that he does whatever he has to do before it is too late. Above all, he must rectify his shortcomings before leaving this Dunya.

Guess who am I?

I don't have any pleasant scent in me. On the contrary, I have a very unpleasant smell. I am within the reach of all types of people. People hold me the way they want. They can hold me with their muddy, greasy, bloody or dirty hands. They never think of washing their hands before holding me. And despite my condition, they do not hesitate to hide me in their pocket close to their hearts.

The best wealth

In reply to a question that the Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) had asked Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) as to what is the best wealth, Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied:

True wealth

A person whose heart is attached to the Dunya will always be the most miserable. One must not be deceived with one's great fortune that one possesses because one will always feel that it is not sufficient. The thought of it being insufficient make one feel that one is miserable. Besides, it is a mistake if we believe that a rich person means someone who possesses a lot. In reality, a rich person is a person whose heart is rich. That is, a person who is not attached to the Dunya. He is not greedy. He does not run behind the Dunya.

Intelligent people

Intelligent people will not make a transaction where they invest a lot to earn a little. As much as possible, they want to have maximum profit. If one sees someone buying a commodity at Rs. 100 / - to sell it for Rs. 50 / - one will not hesitate to call him the greatest stupid. One will be right to believe that he has escaped from an asylum.

A way out

Someone asked Hazrat Fuzail Bin Iyaadh (Rahmatullahi alayh): "What is the way out of our difficult situation?"
