Love for Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam)

Love for Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) is something very essential for Imaan. Imaan does not exist without this love. On the contrary, a person must have this love more than everything to become a good Muslim.

Tazkiyat-un-Nafs

One must follow a treatment to get rid of the bad character that prevents a person from being a human being. This treatment is called Tazkiyat-un-Nafs or the purification of the Nafs (soul). Sometimes, it is called Tahzeeb-ul-Akhlaq which means the reformation of characters. This reformation can be attained with surety from a sincere person who has a good knowledge of Deen and whose behaviour in Deen is irreproachable. Such a person is called a Sheik or a Murshid.

When does a human become a human being?

Allah Ta’ala has granted three main faculties to a person, which are called:

1. قوة عقلية - Quwwah Aqliyyah

2. قوة شهوية - Quwwah Shahwiyyah

3. قوة غضبية - Quwwah Ghadwabiyyah

The government is constantly changing colour!

The government is constantly changing colour!

However we must continue to live like brothers!

If today it is purple, red or yellow,

Tomorrow it could be another or even green!

But we should know how to live,

A Hadith: A true Muslim

"A true Muslim is someone, whom the Muslims are protected from his tongue and his hands. And a true Muhajir is the one who abstains from what Allah (Ta’ala) has prohibited."  (Bukhari)

Explanation:

The eyes, a great favour of Allah Ta’ala

Alhamdulillah, Allah Ta’ala has given us eyes. We can see everything and look everywhere. Perhaps those who do not have this favour know its value better than those who have it. Similarly, those who have some problems in their eyes and are spending a lot of money to protect their eyes, may know its value. And if we really want to know its value, we should ask those who may have spent a fortune to protect them. And those who have lost them would be willing to spend a fortune if that could restore their eyesight.

Abuse of Power

A just leader does not abuse his power over his people. He treats them equally and he applies the law to every individual fairly. According to a Hadith found in Saheeh Bukhari and Muslim, a woman of a high-ranking family from the Jewish community had stolen. Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) passed judgement to amputate her hand. The people found it very hard and they wanted Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) to change his verdict.
